I am extremely pleased by this briefcase. I thought the low price might be to good to be true, and wondered if the leather would be as good as it looked in the picture. It exceeded my expectations, it is styling.
It has a pre-padded internal pocket that accepts my 14" x 10 1/2" Compaq laptop great, and could go up to 15" wide by 11 1/2." I have never had a briefcase with an over the tap flap and like it. It has two buckles at the bottom of the overflap that are sturdy, and in a rush you don't have to lock them down. The internal fabric is fine and pockets inside are your typically leather briefcase design, sleeves for cords, two pen holders, business card slots etc...
The section where the handle is attached is beefy and is sort of hinged in a way that when you are on a plane and trying to get into your briefcase at your feet when stuck in a middle seat behind an exit row you can access things without injuring your fellow passengers in a fit of rage. Only weak point for me, the backside pocket has a single Velcro closure in the middle. If you slide an 8 1/2 x 11 file folder in it it will stick up and be visible just a bit. Although when going through airport security that is the pocket I tossed my watch, wallet, etc... into easily and could fold the top flap over and get at the laptop easily.
One other tip, if like me you are the person who likes to load a TON of papers into your quad-pocketed el-gigantico briefcase and you feel like you need a possible intervention between your chiropractic visits. This is a real inexpensive way to trim your load down and have a great looking briefcase that still can hold a fair amount of stuff.
